Daily Life: Review

Oh well, I feel sorry. For not being on here that often. For only posting boring outfit of the days. For not telling you guys what's currently going on in my life.

It's even boring myself. So I decided to post a little review today. Hope you like it!

Done: I was actually quite busy lately - even though I'm in my semesterbreak. Lots of working for Zalando, practising the piano, rehearsals and singing lessons. I've been on a short holiday and visited my mom and my dad. Oh, and I really tried to train my farty dog Juno, but she's quite resistant to any of those attempts.

Read: Okay, this could be a little bit embarrassing, but I started reading the whole Harry Potter series last week again. Yes, I'm a Potterhead, and I love it. And I found this beautiful old book with Goethe's poems on a fleamarket a few weeks ago - it's really lovely, though a little bit exhausting to read and definitely not the right medium for shallow entertainment haha.

Listened to: Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Kate Bush... I'm really into strong female voices at the moment. Cheers me up every day!

Ate: Lots of indian food, in the meantime it sometimes felt like living in that indian restaurant next to my flat. They just have the best mango lassi on earth I guess. On hot summer days I enjoyed eating fresh salads with rucola, grapes and feta cheese, mmmmmhmm. And if you find yourself in Berlin, you should definitely go to that japanese place, Cocolo Ramen. They have really good ramen soups and an amazing green tea ice cream out of matcha.

Fairly New In:  I bought myself a very cosy, HUGE couch, which is just perfect for hanging around and watching movies. It makes the living room so much more comfortable and homely, I'm super happy about it, even though I had to move the whole furniture and made some scratches in the nice wooden floor. Oops. And it was definitely worth it to feel like an axe murderer and saw down a birch tree in the middle of the night, because now I have this beautiful "birch-branches-canopy" over my bed.

What's moving me at the moment: The whole refugee situation in Europe makes me quite sad and is really moving me. I helped in a refugee camp, which is close to my house, a few times now and heard so many touching stories from the people there. I just feel ashamed for being a human when reading all those racist comments on Facebook.

OOTD: More, more more

Just a teeny-weeny OOTD from today, I didn't have enough time to photograph the whole outfit with detailshots, oops, I'm sorry pals. Oh, and you should definitely check out the video I posted above, it's the new debut-single from my old friend Jay Cooper. I don't really like the video - probably thanks to the little feminist inside me crying out loud (sorry Jay, sorry Roland!), but the song is definitely worth a shot.
